Hello, and welcome to "The Gillespie's Home Page". Assuming that you haven't stumbled across this site by accident, you already know who we are so I don't need to bother introducing the family. This site will expand, web space permitting, to include many of the pictures that we have taken. the will range from special occasions such as my graduation, to photos that we think you might enjoy.
There are 2 main reasons I am creating this site. The first is to save myself from having to attatch the same files to several emails, and you from having to download large emails. If while you are looking through the site you come across any broken links, then please don't hesitate to email me so I can correct them.
The second reason is to try out some new things using Microsoft 's new .Net platform. You may see some change in how things are layed out on the site. If I have time I may even make all the photos searchable, although chances are I won't.
Initially the site will contain the photos from my graduation, from the University of Glasgow. It includes the professionally taken portraits as well as the personal photos from the day. It was a very enjoyable day, and if I remember I will add some of the other details from the day.
The site also contains the photos from when we have been down at Maitland, south of Ayr, visiting John Wilson & Sherry Dodd. These are primarily here so Sherry can point people to them, rather than attatching them to emails. Hopefully this section will expand over the years.
Please feel free to check back on a regualr basis, well every couple of months or so. If there are any major updates I will email you. You will be able to find out what changes have been made by looking at the Site News page in the News section.
